At Flagship Financial Partners we use a concept known as "Bucketizing your money" which uses the combination of asset allocation, diversification, depletion, and leveraging of time. 

By simply identifying a client's monthly income need and their total savings and investment portfolio, we separate money into three buckets, with specific amounts of money going into each bucket which has a specific function and purpose.

That function ranges from providing immediate income, to tax efficient investing, to non-market driven products, and finally, guaranteed growth annuities*.  The purpose is to lower market risk and exposure, while still providing the client opportunity or growth.

By using depletion, specific product combination and leveraging of time versus strictly using Wallstreet's philosophy of money in motion, we truly believe we can dramatically reduce the amount of stock market exposure in a client's portfolio while giving the client the same or better results.
